A live version of (I'm In Love With) Hyram Black, taken from Drive-By Trucker's Heathens Homecoming concerts in 2020 at The 40 Watt in Athens, GA. The studio version appeared on Jerry Joseph's 'The Beautiful Madness' recorded here at Dial Back Sound in 2019. Jerry is backed here by The Drive-By Truckers as he was for the album version. This is an outtake from a forthcoming companion piece to 'The Beautiful Madness' entitled 'Tick'.
The collection will feature demos of unrecorded songs, studio outtakes of unreleased songs and a side of live versions taken from this same concert. Although the vinyl version will not arrive till 2023, our 2022 subscribers will receive the LP as part of signing up for this year.
Announcing soon on Dial Back Sound, here's a first taste exclusively for our subscribers. This track will not be a part of 'Tick' and is unavailable anywhere else. Thanks for your support! - DBS

awesome stuff. enjoyable. I cab remember hearing most of these guys in their other respective bands on the KQ homegrown show (a show sorely missed in the twin cities, sorry current), and seeing a lot of those same bands at the turf. anyway nicely done. not a bad track on the album. jphillipm
